One Village at a Time

The village is the most basic unit of development. To understand the ground nuances, we must first understand the land and the people. In this program, an individual or organisation owns up a village — documents it, convenes its people and diaspora, and tracks its development live on this page.

1

Own up a village

A convener — a villager, a diaspora member, an organisation — takes responsibility for one village module and its public record.

2

Document land & people

Baseline the demographics, water, roads, school, health post, heritage and folk arts — the eight study threads of every module.

3

Track it live

Every project in the village appears on its dashboard from the campaign database — progress visible to everyone, updated by the office.

Module 02 — your village?

Saptari has hundreds of villages across its 18 local governments. Adopt yours: we provide the template, the database and the platform; you provide the knowledge and the will.
